Yamanouchi, Nagano is a popular destination in Japan for its excellent hot springs and ski resorts, which have amazing snow quality. In recent years, the “snow monkeys” that bath in the hot springs have become world famous, drawing visitors from around the globe.



This is the only place in the world where you can see wild monkeys soaking in natural hot springs.
The area is inhabited by about 160 monkeys.
